At Hello Bungalow, we believe old things deserve thoughtful new beginnings.
Maybe you have inherited a collection you don't have room for. Maybe you're downsizing, moving, redecorating, or simply have pieces you no longer need. Whatever the reason, letting go of antique and vintage items can feel different than getting rid of ordinary things. You want to see something that meant something to you or your family loved and appreciated.
We're here to help.
Hello Bungalow can help you determine what you have, what may be desirable to collectors or design lovers, and whether we might be able to give those pieces a new life through our shop.
What we can help with.
Inherited pieces. We can help you sort through what you have and identify pieces that may be a good fit for Hello Bungalow.
Downsizing. If you're moving to a smaller home or looking to simplify, we can help you find new homes for vintage and antique items you no longer have space for.
Pieces you simply no longer love. Your style may have changed, your space may have changed, or maybe you're just ready for something new. That does't mean what you have has lost its value or charm.
What happens next?
Start by telling us a little about what you have. Send us a few photographs along with any information you know about the piece(s), including where they came from, their approximate age, dimensions, maker or markings, or anything else that may be helpful. It's ok if you don't know! If you're unsure whether something is valuable, collectible, or simply worth saving, that's where our research will help. We'll take a look and let you know whether the items may be a good fit for Hello Bungalow.
Depending on the item(s), we may be able to:
- purchase pieces directly
- discuss consignment or another selling arrangement
- help determine an appropriate next step
- recommend another resource when an items isn't the right fit for Hello Bungalow (through other friends in the business)
Every piece has a story. We especially love the things that have been lived with, cared for, and passed from one generation to another. Our goal isn't to move something from one house to another. It's to find the right next home.
